This picture is me ( more fascinating details on the ‘about me page’), and I started the blog as I started pulling together research for my book on the history of Abercromby Square. Rather than being all about me, my original intention was to combine interesting snippets and facts about the project, and at the same time record the process of going through research and publishing, as it happened. It’s always tempting to focus on the pretty pictures and to grab your attention with stories of monkeys and leopards and the like, and I know that’s popular, but I thought this was a good time to reflect and take stock of where we are.
So for the next few days I’ll be putting in a few handy hints I’ve picked up along the way, telling you a little bit about where I’m up to and what comes next, and ruminating and chewing the cud with you as I become a reflective cow for a week. And search for better metaphors…
