Dropbox is great! If you haven’t used it, this is an online storage system, accessible from different computers so great for laptop use, and also has a facility for making files public. I used it for the audio files on my Dylan Thomas page.
Kindles ( other e-book systems are available as they say on the BBC) can store PDFs, which makes it far easier to read scans of old books on the move with a pocket sized library. You can also save your own research as a pdf or as an e-pub type file, and work on your own notes on the move.
People like pictures in blog posts. Interesting to see how hits go up when there are pictures. Follow the advice on blog support FAQs too. Its fascinating to learn how to use tags and register with search engines ( very straightforward, even if you aren’t very e-literate) and see your pages start to appear in google.
